Post by: extruck on 04 September 2011, 15:21:58
2.2 cd after having a full service including new fuel filter, the car is hard to start when cold. when it does start its very lumpy for a few minutes then it is fine for the rest of the day. i think it has got a sensor fault but not sure. is there anything that i have missed?

whats the fuel pressure like? also recheck the fuel filter check for leaks, if rubber seals not changed on filter, can leak and make it harder to get pressure up so can start.
if there is a leak change the rubber seals in the fuel line clips.

Does the car have a petrol engine or diesel?
