Does anyone have a how2 on bleeding the brakes on a 2001 Elite. Im being told that I dont need to depress the pedal as its got a abs pump and that the pump will bleed the system if the engine is running.
Ive been told to start car, fill resevoir with new fluid and release the bleed valve until all the air has been released then move around in the general order to bleed. :-?
Is this the correct procedure or does it still need doing the old fashioned way by depressing the pedal??

You've been told a load of 'dangle berries'. The ABS pump needs to be told to pump via Tech II or in the normal course of wheels locking up. Either the old fashioned way of up ..... down ....etc etc or use an Eazi-bleed. :y
