Title: diesel injector pump
Post by: shadwell1981 on 12 September 2011, 21:42:27
hi

i have just bought an injector pump for my 2.5 td. the one fitted is on its way out ( loud noise when running). the question i have is, how do i go about fitting it. i know my way aroud and engine and compitent to change it. is there any tip you could give or should a diesel expert change it?

i have not been let down by you all, as every question i have posted has always resulted with the correct answer and no bull!

changing this part should hopefuly raise my mpg and mybe power?

i have just picked up some gaskets from the local factor, and they look like 6 elastic bands. are they right? i thought i should have something flat with one large hole and two holes for the studs to go through.
