I have tried the Youtube link but there is no video or sound file there, just a black screen and no Play button even after waiting 20 minutes. As all of my other Utube downloads are working there is obviously a problem with your upload.
I will try to help once I have heard the noise though because I have had previous experiences of 'ticking' which was easily resolved. :D

That sounds a bit nasty mate  :(

Firstly remove aux belt, run engine for very short while and see if noise gone.  If it has check tensioner wheel, water pump, power steering pump and alternator for smooth operation.

If noise hasn't gone possibly cam belt related - investigate further before using car !!!  ;)

Hi
try an oil change with the oil hot and replace with good spec oil, sounds like hydrolic lifters, then sort the exhurst leak  :y

Few month ago my old V6 sounded similar not long before a tensioner went, not on the cambelt. But still spent time on the side of the M4 waiting for the AA.

Does it stop ticking when the engine has warmed up?
