Title: Slight Popping !!

Noticed the last 3 morning when started from cold I am getting a slight popping from the o/s under the car as if the exhaust has a hole and casuing a blow.

Have had the car in the air this morning and checked exhaust thoroughly and it is perfect..no leaks at joins /no holes and all seems fine.This noise will go once engine has warmed up and doesnt occur again until left standing overnight.

Any pointers where to look as idles is very stable and this is only on initial cold start.

Could be the beginnings of a mainifold gasket blowing or a cracked manifold, these seem to be temperature dependant at first.

Could also be the secondary air injection system doing its job, any unburnt fuel re-ignites in the downpipe, noise will stop when the air pump switches off.
