Title: omega steering idler question

hi i got a 2.0 16v tourer estate, and when i jack passenger side front and move wheel side to side the steering idler flexes on the bush quite bad is this suppose to do this if i replace with new one will it stop flexing or do i need to change something else
any help would be great thanks

jack up passenger side. Is there then vertical movement in idler? If so, replace with a Lemforder part
