Surely one for an ac specialist? Valve can't be expensive to add to a normal ac service...?

The valve on top unscrews like your tyre valves, the other at the front requires a 15mm socket & a 17mm(?) spanner to support the boss welded to the pipework.

It is quite fragile where it is welded, but is easy to replace.

The pipework? Far easier to not have to replace it ;) ;)

Anyone know part no for front one? Can only find part no for top, presumably different, going by Andy B's comments?
-
By the top part, is that the one nearest the firewall and just back from the ICV? if so can someone post the part number for that as mine has gone and i'd like to replace.

Get a few if he does, mother T's estate needs one, and be useful having a spare :) :y

Found on EPC
5248177
EPC also lists 3041827 for 2.5 and 3.0, which matches PN for top valve

Need to clean mine up so I can actually see what is part of pipe, and what is part of valve, then I should be able to get my head around it :y
Was it tight?

Got one here TB off the 2.6 elite i will bring it on Saturday. Saying that i must have the pressure checked on the estate as aircon has stoped working in the past few weeks, was OK when i went to Scotland in July. :-?

Mine wasn't particularly tight, they don't need to be .............. but neither does an oil filter cap and we all know how tight they can be. :-X
Just use your socket over the top, IIRC the bit that it screws to is 17mm across, the valve is 15mm so it won't go any further. ;) ;)
