Title: suspension advice please...
Post by: F1 9LFG on 18 September 2011, 21:19:16
Hi all,
I'm after some expert help please.

I currently have a set up consisting of OE shocks and Pi -40mm lowering Springs = result is terrible, I know (now) that this is the worst possible path to take when lowering an omega.

So I want to change the past and do things correctly, ie Uprated shocks and springs or coil-overs.

As per usual my bank manager is shaking, what would I be looking at for an acceptable set-up, rough prices?

Seen a few options on the net, FK coilovers from about £600 or Belstien spring an shock combos from about £480.

But its all double dutch to me, the last thing I want to do is throw money at a problem with out rectifing it completely.

I also will take a trip to WIM once fitted to get it set up correctly so must also allow for that, again no idea as to how much that'll be?!

Thanks Chaps

Thanks, any ideas as to where is best to buy from and what sort of money is reasonable, as with everything there seems to be a wide price range on the net!

Cheers  :y

I bought mine from LMF Vauxhall...  but if that fails, then try a well known auction site
