As title people, what size tyres would be required to fit on the 18" 6 spoke snowflakes? Also any pics?
-
235/40 x 18
225/40 x 18
-
Thought snow flakes where 19"? Didn't realize they did 18 ....?
-
Snowflake's is a slang name that seems to be attached to several different Vxl rims. Even the 17" rims fitted to early Zafira GSi's are somethings referred to as snowflakes.
I'm wondering of the OP actually meant Irmy sport stars. :-/

I ment the 18" ones that come as standard on the vxr range, astra in particular, the six spoke ones.
Not the normal 5 spoke 19" ones as they tend to suffer from cracking from what I've heard, although there probably better on the muggy due to tyre size?

235/40 x 18
225/40 x 18
Is that front and rear or are you saying either could be used?

Bare in mind that if they are not originally Omega wheels, they will have the wrong offset. :y

And most probs 7.5j width as its going to be coming from an astra ;)

What's the offset and width of the standard mv6 rims I have?

there are three permissible tyre sizes for 18" wheels on Omega B - tyres which have the correct hub height and wheel revs per mile.
235/40, 245/40 and 215/45.
BUT you need to make sure these are compatible with your width of wheel.
225/40 are NOT of the right size.

245 40 18 on mine. That's on 18 x 8j rims.
9j also fit rear, be careful what rim size you have, Size is usually moulded into the back if the wheel.
