Title: CCR 2006 default volume
Post by: gaffer on 12 March 2007, 10:03:50
Does anyone know how to reset the switch-on volume level? Mine is so low it's almost inaudible at switch-on. The obvious answer is "Tech 2", I suppose, but my local dealer says they have checked, and can't come up with any way to do it.  :'(

While we're on the subject, I've noticed some strange behaviour from mine. If I tune in a preset station in the U (FM) band, say I select that band and hit 4 (tuned to radio 4 - sad really), everything's fine until I park somewhere. On starting up again, it briefly plays that station before tuning to 87.5 (bottom of the FM band) after a few seconds. I then have to select the preset again.

If I select a preset station in the AS U band it remembers it after a power down with no problems.

It has no problem remembering things in geenral. It picks up where it left off playing a cd and all the preset stations stay in memory. It just seems to throw a wobbler in that band.

Bit of a wierd one. Does anyone have an idea what's going on?
