Title: Central Locking Fault
Post by: Lordmpl on 16 May 2007, 16:42:54
Hi All, I am new here, have said hi in the new bit, Now for a question, I have just purchased a Omega 2.0ltr 16v Ecotech Saloon in met blue, the central locking did not work when purchased, i have read around, what i have read is that there is a control box in the drivers footwell, had a look, nothing there just wires with a plug on it, assuming it should be there, is there any reason why this may have been removed, can i just get one and plug it in? wil one from any Omega fit?

Thanks In Advance. Mark.  :)

there should be a fuse box directly under the steering column, behind a flap, is that what you're looking for?

No, i tried the fuse first.

But after reading a few posts, it seemed there was a black control box behind a flap in the drivers footwell, i looked there and no box, just a plug that (Assuming this bit) should plug into the said box. I have no key fobs or buttons on keys, I just want it to lock all doors when i lock the drivers door, at the moment i am going round the car locking all the doors.

Thanks, Mark.  :)
