Title: bose and ariel questions.

started to strip the bose from the scraper, now ive got the parcel shelf out and my hands have stoped bleeding,,,,,,,, :-[

ariel,, looks like mine comes up the offside of the car don the sills ,(mini face lift, with thecd changer loom.
is it the ariel cable,seen on post below  ariel is on nearside on prefacelifts ?
if its not the ariel cable what is it ?

if the rear screen is the ariel why has my car got a ariel on the roof ?

should the bos have tweeters in the rear doors ?
if so where are they hidding them ?

Sounds like cellular aerial cable. BTW, the aerial on the roof is cellular as well...

... no tweeters fitted to rear doors (unless they're integrated with the woofers) ...

I re read that before posting and corrected 3 spelling mistakes lol.

so does anyone know why a factory fit car phone ariel was fitted, all 3 of my omegas and all the saloons ive seen have them.

Many were 'prewired' for cellular phone - idea being that you could just add the relevent kit for your phone (or buy the Vx kit), and it just plugs in, and is routed through your stereo.  Only, they didn't fit the mic....   ....and the cellular antenna cable only goes as far as drivers kick panel...
