Title: I want BOSE out and audio ?'s
Post by: 2001CatOwner on 09 June 2007, 08:42:16
Hey all,  I am from the US and drive a 2001 cady Catera.  I came here to see if anyone can help me with the "correct" install of my aftermarker head unit and removal of BOSE!!!!  I have the head unit in but it doesn't turn off and when i get back into my car after 1/4 hour or so its reset to 87.5.  If someone could guide me through wiring whatever wires to make it not do that it would be GREATLY APPRECIATED!!!!!

You need to swap the two power wires over, but if you get the correct interface lead you can drive the display and retain the steering wheel controls.

I have a Sony H/U and I get the track names on the display and my wheel controls still work.

Some companies make their own, others you need to go to the likes of Connects2 and Autoleads.
