Title: rear view mirror

new to the omega this is my first one and quite impressed,the rear view mirror seems rather bulky is it the auto dimming variety[96,2.0 cdx estate]

Hi and welcome to the world of Omegas.

Does your mirror have a circle cut out in the silver on the top left hand corner?  If so, then it is the self dimming variety.

If it doesn't have a dimming lever below then its autodipping. It will have a dark circle in on corner, and an 'eye' pointing forwards through windscreen...
