The reversing sensors on my 2002 3.2 Elite dont work, can anyone tell me if/where the fuse is. The car used to be a chauffeur car and I was wondering if they have been disconnected, the reversing lights work OK.
TIA :y

Check the controller is plugged in, its mounted on the inside of the main metal support between the spare wheel and shock turret in the boot.

Would anyone have the wiring diagram for the parking sensors?

You should get a single beep as soon as it goes into reverse. Could be a power or 'beeper' speaker problem I guess.

I get nothing at all :'( not a murmer

Is there a fuse in the reversing sensor system?

Don't know if you resolved this, Pete, but I've been looking at the wiring diagrams and came across the park pilot. Do you have a towbar? There's some wiring that appears to be to disable the parkpilot if a trailer is hitched up. It connects either side of the fog light switch on the towing connector so if the fog light switch in the towing electrics is duff, this could explain it (assuming a factory tow bar).
There appear to be 2 pins on the parkpilot (Grey wires) which are shorted to enable the parkpilot if the towbar is not fitted.
Just thought this might help.

Ahh, just noticed it's the 3.2 so I guess it's irrelevant now. Still, someone might be glad of the info.

I ordered a new ECU and sent it on the the new owner. Hopefully this will resolve the problem :y
