Title: Near side sidelight problem
Post by: simple_simon on 14 November 2007, 23:13:01
hi everyone, i have a Nreg 2.0L ecotec and have a problem with the nearside side headlight, i thought it might be the bulb but when i pulled it out it didnt look blown so i tried it in the offside and it worked then i checked for any loose wires on the back of the bracket and then the  fusebox. but this led to nothing, i suspect it could be an earthleak or something like that it was fine when it had its mot 2 months ago. any ideas anyone??

many thanks
simon

Just to clarify....is this the sidelight, main beam or dipped beam?

Do any of the lights in the headlight work?

Stalk? Switch? Pennies from breakers so maybe worth a test?
