Title: Power sounder, 1 beep after battery replacement
Post by: Jimbob on 10 December 2007, 09:48:54
Put a new battery on the 2.2 yesterday.

Disconnected battery within a few seconds of the ignition going off.

Put the new on one, and as I connected it, got one loud beep from the powersounder.

Had no other beeps from it at all, so is this just a one off, or a sign of imminent failure?

Cheers

Does it go off if you cause the alarm to function for real with an attempted breakin??

(moving to electrics bit...   :y)

Mine does the same if I disconnect and reconnect the battery, I assume it's normal.
