Title: Speedo/Rev counter

Last night the illumination on the rev counter gave up..it has been on borrowed time so cant complain...tried to find the bulb part numbers but as VX dealer shuts at 12.00 today thought I would risk it.Young guy served me as normal parts chap wasn,t there today (probably on a cruise with all the money I have spent there..bah humbug)anyway we looked on the computer screen and he said there were 3 types I needed ???
v0009195062   x 3 @0=57 each
v0009198599   x 1 @0=62
v0090563999   x 1 @0=82

Needless to say they were NOT instock and would be in by Friday..but just want to check with anybody who has replaced them before.. does this sound correct and have i got the correct ones and the correct number as dont want to pull it to pieces and find i needed another type..also if anyone has replaced them before how long should i allow for the work as time is a bit precious after christmas..Thanks

yes mate i replaced all mine and put 5watt bulbs in and they was very bright for a while !! they are the same bulbs that go in sidelights bud 501 capless !!  ;)

How big a deal is it to replace the speedo bulbs as going to give it a go at weekend..expect there is a guide to removing dash section but can anyone point me in right direction as can only find climate and facelift.thanks

yes there is a how to but dont how to post links bud !! dead easy only takes about 10 mins to remove !! ;)

Thanks Markey_Mark...have now found link and looks straight forward so will give it a go in morning if not working..have you sorted out paypal account yet as need those bonnet struts mate..cheers ..pm with details
