Post by: vrba on 06 March 2008, 13:04:51
hawing problems with radiator fan (it wont turn off even when i turn the car of only thing is to pull out 30A fuse) and climate fans are also on even that climate is off, but they switch off when i shut down the car). I checked the relays today but no success. Do you have any ideas on how to solve this problem cause this is pain in the ass my car cant get to the normal temp with fans always on.

Sounds like the thermo switch in the rad is fubard. Replace this and all will be well.

Rad Fans are controlled entirely by temp switch in rad.

There is a 3rd fan, controlled by a/c system - maybe this isn't powering down.

there are 2 in front that are cooling aircon and that one on fhe radiator that is cooling the engine coolant. the one on radiator is stuck and always on and other 2 are powering when i put key in and switchit on but aircon is off and they should not be on
