No, because it reduces the High level input of around 5 - 8 Volts down to between 300 and 600 mV

Bose is somewhere in between. If you want to use a Non Bose head unit on a Bose amp setup in the car, then look towards the Porsche and Audi convertors - around £30 and only need a bit of "wiring" to get them to work.

So your saying it can be done using one of these leads and some 'wiring' . Is this something that can be done to this lead in advance and then simply plug into hu of my choice .... getting confused now !

It may take some playing about to get it wired up correctly - which is why from this point onwards I can only say that others have used this successfully, but as I have not done it myself, I am unable to assist.
