Title: What Bulb ?

Could a member please tell me what parking light bulb I need for my 98 2.5 elite, It will save me taking the battery out and replacing it twice..I did see a bulb list on the site, but can't seem to find it now.

The all glass type - Capless 5W Don't drop it it into the headlamp though - they're a bugger to get back out ...... apparently! ::)

Sidelight isn't too bad, it's the main beam that's a bugger. Changed both on mine last weekend and i've still got the scrapes and cuts on my hand!

I believe it's bumper off, on some of the BMW's :o

....also referred to as a W5W or 501 'wedge based' bulb. 12v obviously. Shouldn't cost you more than a couple of quid a pair. Maybe change both to achieve equal performance.

Driving instructor few years ago horrified to find headlight bulbs can only be changed by main dealer on his new Renault Modus  ;D
