My CDr2005 is in SAFE mode, and isn't giving me the option to enter a code, ... not that i have one for it ... either way, does anyone know where i can get it unlocked and how much cash i am looking at for the repair/

may be in a wait mode (need ign on for wait period), or all goes may have been used.

Try member Dave DND

Have ignition in position 1 or 2 and turn stereo off, hold down AS button for about 3 seconds then keep it held down while you turn the stereo on...should then ask for code...

My ears were burning !!

If it just says SAFE then you are not turing the ignition on, and if it has a number to the left of SAFE then it may be code locked.

Either way, follow this link for full details and code entry procedure

Although if you dont have the code (and its the original stereo from the car) then you will need to get a code to enter...Dave will be cheaper than Vaux for getting the code...
