Title: EGR valve bypass
Post by: perfferle on 30 May 2008, 19:59:02
Hi, Is there a proper method to bypass (electrically) the EGR valve on the 2.5L 1999 V6?

Not sure why? :-/

We normally blank it mechanically and leave the electrics connected.

Ok, just wondered if the fuel mixture / something else was affected when the valve operated. The valve appears to be the cause of an intermittant rough idle RPM condition that i experience when the engine is up to temperature.

Thanks :y.
