Title: Check Control Unit

where does this little device live as it keeps telling me Headlamp Tail Lamp Check even though they are all working! i assume its dying so i was gonna have a look inside it and see if theres any dry soldered joints etc but the haynes book doesnt mention it

any ideas?

it flashes this up if certain brands of bulb are used.vx bulbs are ok,and i think 1 or 2 others(cant remember which) but a lot of aftermarket bulbs will cause it to give you the message :y

remember you have 4 tail bulbs

nah i thought about the cheap bulb option and replaced my sidelights with Vaux bulbs

4bulbs?

Front & Rear ill go and check the rears and report back!

2 each side - one is part of stop bulb, other is a smaller bulb.
