a few weeks ago the screen went blank in the car, was advised to take out fuse 12, replace and it will work again, which it did.
I have now noticed the sat nav is playing up it is around half a mile out of range, is this realted to why the screen went blank in the first place, or me taking the fuse out or nothing to do with them?
Main priority is to get it working again :y, any ideas would be great thanks !!!!!

Which system is this? May need to go to the Installation menu and peform a calibration test.
Providing of course that you can see a good number of sattellites !!

I cant see the disc being scratched being the issue.
The more satillites it can connect to the more accrurate the position, i would be looking at the instruction manual to see if there is a calibration you can do

Pretty certain the NCDC uses satelites as primary locator (unlike carin, which uses accelerometers and speed pulses, using satelites as secondary), so unlikely to be calibration. How many sats can it see?

hey its working again, been on the blink for about 4 days but its working now, strange.
Will keep an eye on it anyway.

They seem to take some time when first powered up to get the position accurate.........when mine was first fitted it thought we were 2 streets away, after a few hours of working it was mega accurate.
-
if its 1/2 a mile away from where you are....
just go there instead ;D

I agree, when I frst installed mine, it thought it was in Germany until I'd driven about 20 miles.
They're also slow to get accurate first thing on a cold morning, though I can't imagine that being a problem at the moment.
