I normally start my climate in AUTO with the temps both set on low.

Adjusting the temp on the drivers side they both move at the same time, but if I alter the passenger side they then each need adjusting on thier own.

But I have no idea if this is normal operation as I am still getting used to it my self.

2001, presumably a facelift, just press the passenger side knob - this will switch off display passenger side, and temps will follow drivers side setting.

Prefacelifts, if the get out of sync (ie, passenger adjusts their side), it will reset to follow drivers side after 40mins with ign off.

if both sides are showing a temperature

press the drivers side, this will turn off the display on the passenger side,
adjust to the temperature you want,
press the drivers side again, both will come on.

thats it !!

Tell me what's wrong with my climate. Works ok, but pressing the drivers knob leaves temp reading on passanger side ( and I've got the steering wheel on left). If I change the wiring, I will get the display and function ok, but then I would change passengers temp while turning the drivers knob. Was this bad enough explanation of the status quo? Hope someone gets my point and knows what to do

Needs programming to state which side driver is - sounds like yours is programmed fot RHD
