Title: battery terminal

anyone ever had the positive terminal on their battery getting really hot,i mean to the extent i burnt my finger,an if so what causes it

Its normally a poor crimp on the treminal to cable joint.

If you can find an auto electrician with the correct crimp tool then get it tightened up.

Yes, seen that a few times, due to the connection of the cable to the clamp being poor.
