I'll be on the lookout for a CCRT 2008 stereo in December if anyone has got one going. Unfortunately I couldn't get my existing unit fixed as the CD changer continues to jam inside the unit. I end up having to use a screwdriver to remove it, but it just comes up with the error message.

Thats quite rare in UK.
You may be able to simply just replace the cd changer part from another model...

Yeh, think its the same as all the other facelift units with 4 disc cd in that it uses CDC3 chassis and mechanism

But (depending on CDC3 ident code) different control board.

Problem is it keeps on coming up with a CDC error so I think the unit might be at fault rather than the changer. Might be best to go for a new unit.

CDC ERR or CDC SAFE?
If CDC ERR, sounds like laser, does it work with original silver pressed disks?
-
it definately says Error CDC. It doesn't work with any CD at all :'(

I agree CDC ERR sounds like a laser (or motor) failure
