Hi all, I have a dead switch light on my recirculation button in the centre console. Also the illumination levels are not that great overall.
I'd like to renew the lights in the interior, and as I've got to do my foglight switch bulbs also i may as well do the lot in one hit.
THe unit is a poor mans non climate fascia. How does one change the bulbs in the individual switches, and what bulbs do you use?
Thanks.

Best to get working replacement switches of a scrapper.

carnt replace the bulbs there soldered in ! :(
-
You can change them but you do have to be handy with a soldering iron i changed mine to l.e.d.
I know some of the guys on here dont like the l.e.d route but i just went for xenon white and to be fair i like the way they look.

Someone had an eBay link to someone who sold the lamp complete with the blue? holder. They were just a drop in replacement

That number is the back light for the console.
Sev wants back lights for the actual switches. As said, I'm sure that that there had been someone on eBay selling them:-

indeed andy, I've seen the ones on ebay, but they're a bit... loud!
All I want is to rejuvinate the current items, and really it's only the air recirculator that's dim.

The lamps that were linked to ages back were ordinary tungsten, and not 'loud' led. I did repair one by using A N Other switch from the scrap yard, hence the lamp for the picture.
