Yesterday i removed my radio single CD player (factory) to asses the amount of space before i install my aftermarket one. Obvo this ment id have to enter the code for my factory one when i reinsterted it so i made sure i had this on the car pass. I went to enter the code, hold AS unill beep and 10 - - - - is shown. entered the code as it says on the pass, held AS then it just beeped an showed 9 - - - -. Now im confused. i dont wanna keep trying as ill lock out my cd player :( i deffo typed in the code correctly

The code you've been given is wrong then. You now have 9 more attempts to enter the correct code before your car self destructs! ;D

If your sure you entered the code then as stated...its wrong! Maybe the head unit has been changed without the car pass being updated so the code will be wrong/out of date...

Hi Dave,
Out of interest how much does it cost to recode/decode a CCR800 head unit?
