Title: amp in cdx

hi all i have a v6 cdx with the standars stereo and disc changer in the boot but what i want to do is amp it and fit better speakers.the speaker bit is ok but before i remove the stereo can somebody tell me if it will have rca sockets on the back or do i need a fm modulator thingie?thanks

None of the standard stereos will have RCA connectors at the back, but there are many off the shelf convertors available to convert the Vx speaker output to RCA plugs.

There is a special amp for sc804.  Its not great, but if you can pick one up dirt cheap....

thats interesting i'll have a shuffty round see if i can dig one up,i have a jbl amp which i would rather use but always open to new ideas.thanks

Autoleads PC9-451  4ch iso to 4ch RCA plug  lead

Around the £20 mark from memory - let me know if you can`t find one, and I can order one in for you as not something we usually carry.
