Does this model ICE require a code ?
Had the car for a week now, came with the spangly NCDC2013 and CID ;D ....but will I need a code if disconnected from battery ever ? Reason I ask is that I have the 'Car Pass' from the previous owner, but he didn't have any idea if there was a 'Radio Pass' ......

no code, does it say SAFE?
These units are Paired to the CID.
-
No mention of SAFE.....all works just fine, but pre-empting possible issue (which it now seems is not an issue :))
-
it'll work fine
mine decided to disconnect itself temporarily but on accidentally flattening the battery and then recharging it, stereo and ALL its functions worked fine afterwards
-
if its working then your fine. No codes with these units, if stolen it would be useless.
The headunit and the display are "paired" together, if either the display or the radio need to be replaced they must be set in "delivery mode"
-
Not a traditional code. The stereo and display are paired together with a PIN code. So as long as the stereo and display are never parted, all OK. If you need to part them, need to be depaired first

Excellent, thanks :)
