Had a vibe evo 10 inch base box fitted in my last car and now want to fit it in my miggy.Dont want to fit a new head unit,I want to keep the standard vauxhall one.As this will not have the low inputs i will have to use the high inputs which the vibe evo has.Which speaker wires am i best cutting into?Fronts or rears? Thanks. :)

Also is there a power source i can connect up to in the boot so i dont have to run a power cable from the battery.

I would advise to cut into the fronts as the volume of the rears can then be altered independantly.
I would also strongly advise to ONLY use the power feed direcly from the main battery via a fuse, don`t try to pick it up anywhere else.

Also make sure the feed from the battery is fused next to the battery (within atleast a couple of inches) alot of people make the mistake of fusing it at the amp end.
Also, if you drill through the bulkhead to pass the wire through, use a bit of paint to cover the metal, and then also a rubber grommet, so to help prevent cutting into the wire as time goes by.

a while back i bought a converter to drop output down to 0.4w for amp purposes which connected to the back of the head unit, dont know if they are still available but it makes the job easier & tidier as you only need the rc cables as normal, the thing is i cant remember where i bought it :-/
