I am looking to install a bluetooth handsfree (Probably Parrot) into a 2003 omega with 2013 head unit. Does anyone know the pros & cons of using a SOT lead behind the head unit or the connx behind the glovebox. The internal mic would be useful to use...
As some handsfree kits do bluetooth audio streaming will the glove box connector allow this.
Also, what are good 12V perm and 12V ignition sources at the front and rear of the car for aftermarket parking sensors...
Thanks

I haven't installed a Parrott kit but I put a Nokia kit into my Omega which also has an 2013. I used the connector behind the glove box with a lead from http://www.siocommunications.co.uk/Shopping/view_product.php?product=06-102B&searchlink=yes&search=OMEGA&page=1. I also needed one of these http://www.siocommunications.co.uk/Shopping/view_product.php?product=06-212B&searchlink=yes&search=VAUXHALL&page=1 as the output from the phone was too high for the Bose. The Vaxhall mic didn't work with the Nokia kit so I used the Nokia one.
I've only fitted factory parking sensor's. They only need +12v from the reversing lights.
