Title: TID testing
Post by: mantahatch on 29 December 2008, 18:18:24
About 12-18 months ago I removed a fully working TID thing, part number is 90 379 233 also has number 220 4107-01. And is a single yellow plug type from a GLS 2.0 so a pretty basic one.

Is there anyway I can test it prior to offering it for sale ?

Thanks

Mike

Sorry TB, have amended it.

Thats a TID, not a MID.

If you get the connector and a few inches of wire from a scrap car, you can test the unit powers up and works ok by hooking it up to a 12v supply. If the screen displays correctly then it should be ok.

Need it to connect to a radio so you stand half a chance of looking for missing pixels...
