Title: Heated Seats

When my driver seat is on,there is a smell in the car....almost like a plastic smell....

I assume that the heat pad is probably faulty,as it smells like 'hot' plastic,but has anyone else came across this smell?

yes one of mine did something similar then hit 9billion degrees and it was red hot to touch, i had to throw mrs ilovemyelite out of the car as it was burning through her clothes. hasnt worked since! ha! faulty pad? not sure what it is.

Yeah sounds about right,it does start to burn the back of my leg once its been on for a few mins.I guess its bu*gered then

I think i'll just unplug it...dont want it to set fire to the car! :o
