Title: Steering Whl off airbag off is ecu reset reqired?

Hello there,I need to take the steering wheel off my elite estate to replace it with a different one. It isn't a problem to remove the wheels and replace them, I have all the tackle but the last time I finished up haveing to have the airbag ecu reset, even though the battery was disconnected before I started. Is there something else I need to know or is an air bag reset required whatever? Hope you can help. Regards Cliff :-/ :y

How long was the battery disconnected for before you unplugged it last time? Needs about 20 minutes really.

as long as battery disconnect all the time the airbag is disconnected, it shouldn't be a problem
