Hi All

can anyone point me in the right direction.

Looking to use the reversing lamps as a source of power in the boot which comes on when reverse is selected. I have had a rumage but just need confirmation on the correct coloured wire for the positive cable for the reverse lamp in the loom.

Any help greatly appreciated.

There'll be a factory supply for use with a caravan behind the trim at the back edge of the boot. A single wire with a female spade ..... I think it's white/black alongside your round connector that has the other 12N connections.  :y

It's a separate wire from the loom with a female terminal ....... Have you a multi-meter? It'll be live when reverse is selected  ;)  ;)  ;)  :y

No.
You need to remove the trim at the back (bumper side) of the boot.

 Ah right,

So I remove the trim covering the rear lamp clusters?

NO! :-?  :-?  :-? At the back edge of the boot!! The bit that you rest your suitcase on as you put in the boot!!!!!! It's held on with half a dozen Torx headed screws that are hiding under an oval blank/cover (as big as your little finger nail and some plastic dome headed things that unscrew from a threaded stud on the inside of your boot!

 Sorry Andy B

That's the one! I thought I was going to have to drive down to house to show you!  ;D  ;D  ;D
It should be around there, near where the loom for the number plate light goes through the body.  :y  :y  :y And it's certainly white/black on my preface lift ...... I found a photo I'd taken before I connected up my trailer electrics. (different plug to yours)
