Title: Heated seats switch

Morning all , the switch on my side is very intermittant , sometimes comes on 1 st go sometimes you have to do it 10 times , I have no  knowledge of anything mechanical, so what do you people suggest , new switch or maybe loose wire on the back ? Have to add when it does come on it works fine . Many thanks , Dave

might just be a dodgy connenction between the switch and loom, try popping the switch out and refit see if that helps :y (pop the switch out gently with a butter knife)

another thing fixed thanks to the board , swapped the switches over , and yes it is the switch. Many thanks again

Sorry forgot to add , best place / advice on replacment , have trauled the ebay but no joy ? Any help much appreciatted . Thanks Dave

you could always pop the switch open and clean the contacts inside it, watch out for the wee springs  :y

Its usually a broken latching mechanism, most breakers sell cheap, not worth effort trying to glue :y

have you tried swapping it for the passenger one ?
just to prove the switch ?

I see you swapped them to prove it is the switch, markey mark is breaking  one, pm him. Postage will be pennies.

Thank you all , I swapped them over and it is the switch , and within 15 mins had pm'd 2 people I was recommended on here and now hav a switch coming in the post . Brilliant site , so friendly and full of very good advice. Many thanks again,
