Title: Rear door speaker size

What size can they take and is there any room for a seperate tweater as opposed to a coaxial design?

rear doors are 5 1/4  and there is a space in t he grill for a tweeter

I had to make up mdf spacer rings to get mine to fit

or even better, if you take a look at the back of the door trim card you should see a circle scored out in the trim.
if you cut it out i found the tweeter from my infinity componants fitted in there perfect  :y
you can also angle the tweeter upwards a bit which improves things alot  :y
i cut some of the polystyreen away from the bck of the part where your elbow sits and glued the crossover unit in there  :y

The front XOvers are in the arm rests

Will look at compatible 5 1/4s now
