There is a lot of confusion over these changers, and it is well documented about the number of different versions that are out there (I am aware of 11 types used by Vauxhall) and they are not all compatable with each other.
As nobody seems to have a definitave list, I propose that we start one, as it would help those that are having compatability issues, so here goes.
If you have a Blaupunkt CDC2 fitted in your car, can you please add some details here, something along these sort of lines
Make / Model / Year of Car Omega V6 2009 etc
Make / Model of Head Unit fitted Blaupunkt CAR250 etc
10 digit part number from the label 7 123 456 789
Vauxhall part number from the label 91 123 456

No, I have 11 variants here used by Vauxhall (its not just the Omega that uses them) and at least 8 of then are NOT cross compatable. I don`t know where this terminology around the letter F comes from, FD, FB etc, it may have something to do with the rest of the vehicle, but has absolutely nothing to do with the CD changer and protocol.
