(From James....)
Today I visited a guy who breaks Omegas to collect Marie's gearbox - nice bloke.
He showed me the cars he is breaking, and in one, which is a facelift, is a set of dark leather which is for sale.
It's in clean condition apart from a small amount of wear on the usual drivers bolster.
He has told me I can make an offer, but I have NO idea what it's worth.
Any ideas on what I should offer? I will go with the recommendations :y
Cheers
James

James,
You know it's worth as much as you're prepared to pay. Less is a bargain, more is too much. :y

Ok Martin, I'll rephrase, what do they USUALLY go for ;) ;D

James, get my PM??
Can you or Marie PM me your address ASAP, i accidently deleted the one with your address yesterday.
So i still need to send the keys to your facelift!
Leather? full set, unmarked £200 with door cards.
Edit > assuming its leccy memory

TBH, offer £75 and work up till he stops swearing or untill your wallet bleeds...
:P

If its MV6 leather, ive seen mini facelift seats go for £250 but the Elite mini facelift stuff is worth less, probably £75 to £100 so the facelift leather which is nicer would cost more. I would start low and work upwards from there :y

If itts a saloon with black heated leather, I may be interested in the rear seats, and switches ;)

If it's not sports leather I wouldn't pay too much... certainly not more than £150, and even then only because it's facelift and therefore rarer.
