GM's vice chairman and main car guru thinks cars are mobile sculptures that you would want to buy and be seen in. Can't argue there, Bob. He was also behind the Dodge Viper. :y
But, most of all, he talks common sense - especially when he calls global warming a “total crock of ****.”
Having spent an awful lot of time recently researching the science behind GW, I have to agree.
See the article here:

if GW is bs why are we being priced of the road because of it

if GW is bs why are we being priced of the road because of it
1) Because it is a "nice" political statement ... lots of words, lots of money, with no proveable or disproveable results
2) Because many organisations have realised they can make big money out of the subject
3) Because the "left wing trendies" can make lots of noise about "saving the world" whilst screwing normal folk
and finally
4) It is now a cult thing ... the "system" has managed to make it into a "If you are not with us you are against us" heretical type thing .. they have removed the requirement for common sense and "the middle ground" - used to be called compromise ....
.... not really pissed off about it am I ... ?? :)

It's an excuse to screw us in every way possible. When I was a Kid it was all doom and gloom cos we were heading for another ice age.
We live in a tiny little country and we get all this, you should do this and that. What the fe*k are all these huge countries doing? nothing, we are being conned all the way to the bank. imho

Because the government can get away with it to fund their overspending.
A rise in income tax would be political suicide so it's got to come from somewhere. GW is just the excuse they're looking for.

Politics and ignorance, mate. The hard left want capitalism and democracy to fail big time; the slightly left want to control everything using taxes (like Livingstone) while, on the right, many large corporations are making a mint with the new cap-and-trade carbon market.
Meanwhile, the majority of the population simply don't have the time to do the research and so just meekly take in what is fed to them by the mainstream media. Sleepwalking to disaster I call it.

Yep, you're right. That one slipped by me. He once said "I hate cars. If I ever get any powers again, I'd ban the lot."
Oh, and he also said "Every year the international financial system kills more people than World War II did." So yes, he is a hard-left nutter. Apologies for that! ;) ;D
