Title: Sound system trouble

I have an Alpine Iva 310rb and i got the battery problem sorted.  Now i have a bloody problem with my system for want of a better word its like it is cutting in and out the sound that is and this happens on the radio as well as the c.d...I have had a new output i.c a few months ago but it was all o.k untill about a week ago not sure its the output i.c have check the connections on the brain unit and all seems o.k....Have been adviced to send it to Alpine who want a small fortune to just look at it just wondered if any one had any idea's before i go down this path???????

What speakers are you running?  Is it connected via the BOSE amps at all?

No mate i dont have the bose set up in mine i have a genesis amp running rockford fosgate fnq2514 components.  The amps have been in a few years.

Sorry, too complex a system to be able to diagnose remotely for this fault.

Suggest to visit a reputable and established car audio shop in your area for an in depth assessment and report.

Just out or curiosity, disconnect the RCA's from amps or your main Amp.

Could be a Short issue.

Not only that my main problem with that unit was the front Panel.

Wobbeling it up and down i lost Output, there is tiny Grub screws on th eactual connector behing front panel, just nip then up a bit and se what happened, it cured mine!
