Title: Bl**dy keyfob
Post by: Martin_1962 on 08 April 2009, 19:55:28
Went to use one and it jammed on. :-/

Popped off key cover and then it switched off.

Locking switch going down and it is only 18 months old. :(

Then check carefully, the cover has lost its elasticity, the switch is slightly weaker so doesn't like to push back >:(

Then while replacing the switch, part of the track lifted >:(, jumper wire fitted. Small blob of alraldite holding it on.

Looks like I need to try my new button manufacturing experiment sooner rather than later. :o

Worked out the stiff cover probably killed the switch :(
