Whilst I am in London over the past few years for my standard 2.5 V6 CDX, AND 2.6 V6 CDX, I have paid in 2003, £645, 2003, £1,000, 2004, £768, 2005, £745. The latter included the modifications e.g, irmscher bits. The cost may well have something to do with the postcode, whcih is pretty crap really, just curious as to what other folks pay round the country, and if you have any decent insurance companys you could recommend, as mine is up in the next several weeks. Oh and B4 you ask I have 8/9 years no claims so what I have been paying is not related to that. However, always fully comp, and would never, and strongly recommend u never use hephelump.co.uk :'(

I pay £319 and thats with business use as well. I got my insurance from confused.com but I believe Vauxhalls own insurance is good.
-
£285ish. SDP use only. I think my postcode helps me though as I'm at the other end of the county from you.
I think I'm still with e-sure this year.
-
Between £400-£500 for me on a CDX v6.
I'm 22 with 3 years NCB.

Spooky!!! I was just about to ask the same question ;D I phone morethan this morning to move insurance from my Scirocco to the 2lt GLS Estate and my insurance is going up from £242 to £408!!!!! :o
They didn't seem worried by the lpg conversion (didn't even ask for a certificate) but this is a big hike for a car only 200cc bigger. Guess I'll be shopping around once the mot's in place etc. :(
Cheers Jim

Bl**dy hell, that seems a bit high. I got my quote with Yes Ins on-line through insurancesupermarket.com and it was the cheapest quote I found. Admittedly I'm a bit older at 52 but still sounds too high. Is your car over 5 years old, because that's what normally makes Yes Ins so cheap. At 35, driving a 2.5 ,max 9000 miles PA and living in a country postcode paid £330 fully comp with Norwich Onion. They reconed that it was more expensive to have TPFT
-
I pay about £450(ish) for Fully comp' business use including the mod's. I have five years plus NCD.
Apparently I'm in the best postal code in the UK WRT motoring crime so that helps keep my premium down a bit even though I only live 30 miles from 'Jock' Mark.

I'm 28 with a 2.2CD. Sdp with 4 years ncb and legal cover £300 on the nose. Adrian Flux (broker) with Highway Insurance.

I've just been to the site from where I was redirected to MyMotorQuote and was given a quote of £350. :) I phoned to confirm the price only to be told it would actually be £370 >:( Still cheap I know but I hate the deception especially when you'd have to take out the policy NOW to get it at that price.

To be fair, I was hit up the arse in my 95 CDX and I was more than happy with their actions. OK so they didn't have to pay out anything as the other party was at fault but the solicator they provided was spot on.
-
It took me over four months to get my claim settled, back in 2003/2004, the only settled after i threatened taking them to the press, with the seven pages of telephone call, dates/times, etc >:(
-
