				Hi guys, I have the CDC SAFE warning on my display when trying to play cd`s. The radio and tape deck work fine. I cant find anything that describes a cure.
Any ideas?

Any numbers at the side? If so that's the number of tries you have left before it locks you out and you need to send it for a cream tea!  :y :y :y

Yes 10 0000 then I enter the code it beeps the radio seeks and tunes itself but the cd wont have it at all????????????????

What radio set up you have? Most radios & CD units have seperate codes.

What radio set up you have? Most radios & CD units have seperate codes.
Not this one (see the title) ;)
Its a common fault on this model, and the CD unit needs reprogramming.

Saw it, but meant nowt to me, hence the question , knowing the electrickery literate amongst us would likely know :y.

none of the facelift ones (4 digit number at end) have code for cdc.

				CDC SAFE is a fairly common software failure on the CCR2006, easy for us to fix, and we can offer this service via mail order
