my cd is not work and i buy another cd changer by philips for my opel vectra B
i do this steps in manual, but it appears CD-CODE, i wait 3 sencods and nothing do. don't appear the chanel for i can put the codes. Its possible to reset the codes? i need help please
-
a phillips cd changer wont work with a CCRT700!
nor will it work in a radio in a vectra B as these use the CAR4/6XX series with a blaupunkt changer
-
Very important to get the right model of changer for your head unit, and rememeber that not all CDC2 and CDC3 units are the same either!
Look at the part number on the label, and replace with an IDENTICAL part number. If its different, it ain`t gonna work.
-
hi there. it's work fine in ccrt700 on star.
i have one and its work. the problem is:
i try many times de codes and the cd changer/ radio don't accept the code. so in this moment apeears CD-CODE, when i try to do again
almost i am waiting for 3 secs and next apeeats the CDC code ----, and then, i put the code. So this last message don't appers im car.
wha i can do?
i try to put the key in car, and waiting 2 hours to resolve
please help me
-
as DaveDND said please list your CD Changers model number and we can then confirm if its compatible with the CCRT
if its not you wont be able to decode it as the CCRT uses a special changer
-

you will have to wait for The Boy to read this as im on the understanding the CCRT700 only works with a special Blaupunkt CDC2 but The Boy know's a hell of alot more than i do about this so will await his wisdom

that changers part number is for a CCR600 setup not a CCRT the CODE WILL NOT BE ABLE TO BE INPUT! the changer is the wrong one there are 4 different CDC3's you need one that come of a car with a CCRT700
when you get a CCRT700 CDC3 changer it might not even ask for the code or it will and you will be able to input it

We have encountered 9 so far across the Vauxhall, Opel and Holden range
You need to make sure you get the right one.

Isn't it a CDC2 that's used with a CCRT700? :-/
-
Nah andy i thought that so spent an hour last night googling
Astra G & Zafia A had the CCRT700 & CDC3 setup as an aptional extra there were other vauxhalls this went in aswell
there are as dave said atleast 9 different CDC3s about so there is a "special CCRT" variant like there is with the CDC2

ok

the problem is another, i put many times the code and the radio is block a CDC need so decoder radio for accept again my cdc3
-
radio locked now?
is it saying CD-SAFE? or just SAFE??
-
CDC3 when used with the CCRT700 does not require a code.
If it is asking for one, then it is either the wrong changer or is faulty.

OK, seems to be some confusion here, based around the fact that all UK spec Omegas factory fitted with CCRT700 (ie 1999 CDX/Elites) came with the CCRT version of the 6 disk CDC2.
There is no reason why you can't use the CCRT version of the 4 disk CDC3, as was used in some UK spec Vectra-B
To the OP - assuming this did work once (thus the right CDC3) - are you sure you have the right code, different to the CCRT700 code?
Code input is similar to CDC2, and once you have had a couple of goes, the wait timer starts, initially at 10m from memory, but grows to several hours. After 10 incorrect attempts, the unit is locked, and needs to be unlocked by a specialist decoding company (not the type selling incorrect codes online).

Ok thanks.
is true i try many time the code and now is locked, today i go to office OPEL to resolve the problem. My car is a Vectra B (1999), and the radio must go to portugal to be decoding.

Opel can't fix it. You need a specialist car audio repairer
