Title: Facelift- Trip computer
Post by: Dazzler on 11 May 2009, 07:54:58
I went to see a facelift 3.2 Elite yesterday.
The right hand stalk has no controls for the trip computer and no variable wipe. Is this right :-/
If it is how does the trip computer work :-/

Rains sensing wipers, and I believe the info of the trip is permanantly on show on the colour display.

If its a NCDX Stereo, then the computer is controlled through that iirc

By variable wipe do you mean the 1-5 speed selector for the intermittent wipe? Mine doesn't have that either but my previous 2.2 CD did. My MV6 doesn't have rain sensing wipers though, didn't know you could get that option on the Mig  :o

You can buy rain sensing as an 'add-on' kit ..... at a price!

So they were never a VX option then I assume. I know you can get aftermarket kits. Quite fancy them but not sure how expensive and difficult to wire up.

Yes it was!
Vauxhall also do the rain sensing as an add-on kit, I priced it up for Annette's Astra G when I found out there was such an animal .... but quickly dropped the idea when i found out how much it was.  :-?  :y
