You can get nice ones off ebay ... just make sure you buy the Osram Nightbreakers, they are darned good, much better than the stock ones  :y :y :y

By Xenons, you surely mean HIDs, don't you?

Check out the following link for a better idea - you have bulbs for both the main beam and side lights:

If yours are d2s or d2r regular xenons watch out for colour as you buy for main beam.
Probably best suited are 6000K bulbs

Well, i have factory fitted Xenons at the moment (still using the original bulbs). I am planning to upgrade in the very near future to put in the Osram Nightbreaker HIDs soon. (just after the Bahrain's version of the MOT which is due by this month's end!)

Under the D2S bulb range Osram does not come up as an option. It is mainly Kaixen. I'm assuming yours is a facelift.

Uh, yes, correctly assumed there my desert brother - i got a facelift. From your vehicle description, it looks that you have a facelift as well. Anything came up with your quest of the HID?  :-/

Its mainly the Phillips bulb that comes up for the Xenons. I might stick with phillips and with 4,500k. There is a bit of choice on the high beams. I think you and I would be more prone to use high beams in the Middle East though!  ;D

I've also just bought some new Depo light units from Germany, they arrived today. All I have to do now is stick them in my suitcase and transport back to Qatar. :D

Great stuff there mate. Hope you get it all sorted out then. btw, how cold is your a/c? i feel that the a/c does not work that well even after a regas  :-?

Your a/c should be reasonably cold after a regas. With the engine off remove both dust caps and see if you can hear a leak. The valve at the lower position I believe is a liquid one and could be leaking. The Opel agent should be able to change it fairly cheaply.

I had a more serious problem, my a/c would last about 2 weeks. In the end I had to have most of he pipework replaced. It cost me around QR 3,300 and heavily discounted to QR2,600. Just one of those things.  :-/

High beam on Omega (and most cars) is halogen. HID bulbs would fail prematurely as main beam due to on/off cycles, and also the start time is too slow.

Cars that use HIDs for main beam, such as upmarket mercs, use a shutter mechanism, and the HIDs are on all the time
